Radico Khaitan Limited announced the launch of Magic Moments Aam Panna on August 20, 2026, extending its Flavours of India portfolio of Indian-inspired flavoured vodkas. The new variant is built around the taste of raw mango, drawing on the traditional Indian summer drink of the same name.

From Kitchen Cooler to Cocktail Glass

Radico Khaitan introduced Aam Panna as the latest addition to a range that already includes Thandaai, Alphonso Mango and Jamun SpicyMint. According to the company, the vodka combines the tangy character of raw mangoes with its grain-based spirit, refined through a five-stage filtration process, to produce a sweet-and-sour profile with a crisp finish.

The launch is rolling out across a reported fourteen states, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal and Rajasthan, in formats ranging from Quart down to a 90ml pocket pack.

The Numbers Behind India's Favourite Vodka

Magic Moments describes itself as India's leading vodka brand and the fifth-largest globally, reporting 8.6 million cases sold in FY2026 and more than 3.25 million cases in the first quarter of FY2027.

The company also stated that flavoured vodka now accounts for over 75 percent of its total vodka volumes for the quarter, underlining how central flavour innovation has become to the brand's growth compared to its unflavoured, classic vodka.

Why Vodka Brands Keep Betting on Nostalgia

The launch reflects a broader pattern in Indian vodka, where flavoured expressions are increasingly used to attract new and occasional drinkers rather than compete purely on strength or price.

Vodka currently holds a modest share of India's IMFL market compared to whisky, and Radico Khaitan's own figures show that share growing only gradually, from roughly 4.3 percent in FY2026 to 6.1 percent in the most recent quarter.

Rooting a new flavour in a familiar, culturally specific drink like aam panna is a way of lowering the barrier to trying vodka for consumers who may not otherwise reach for the category.

Can Aam Panna Repeat Jamun SpicyMint's Success?

It is too early to assess how Aam Panna will perform commercially, since the variant has only just reached shelves in its initial markets.

Its success will likely depend on how well it holds up against the brand's earlier Flavours of India launches, particularly Jamun SpicyMint and Alphonso Mango, which the company has cited as its recent benchmarks for flavour-led growth.

A Reminder Before You Reach for the Bottle

As with any new spirit on the market, Occassional Drinker encourages readers to check the label for exact ABV and to drink mindfully. Flavoured vodkas can taste smooth and easy to drink, which makes it simple to lose track of consumption, so pace yourself and know your limit.
