Chandon India is the Indian sparkling wine house of LVMH, producing premium sparkling and still wines at its winery in Dindori, Nashik. Part of the global Chandon network that spans Argentina, California, Brazil, Australia, China, and India, the brand combines French sparkling-wine expertise with Indian terroir and fruit expression.
Chandon was created with a simple idea: great sparkling wine doesn’t have to come only from Champagne. In India, that philosophy took shape through years of vineyard development before the Nashik winery officially opened in 2014. The focus has always been on quality viticulture, low yields, careful harvesting, and blending styles suited to the Indian climate and palates.
Positioned as modern luxury, Chandon India is known as a “party starter” rather than a formal celebration wine. Its sparkling wines are designed for brunches, sundowners, house parties, and relaxed social occasions—luxurious but never intimidating.
Sustainability plays a central role at the Nashik winery. Chandon India uses drip irrigation, recycles 100% of its process water, and sources a significant portion of its energy from solar power. Over the years, the brand has earned more than 40 international awards, including medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards and the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships.
Today, Chandon India is widely regarded as the benchmark for premium Indian sparkling wine and continues to shape how, when, and why wine is consumed in the country.
